Life and Bikes: Summer 2026

I can’t believe that it’s already July! I wanted to share some of my bike-adjacent adventures that have been happening over the past few months. All photos were taken on the Xpro3 & 27mm prime.

Another year, another fun time at 9.5 hours of Disco in Salmon, ID. The midpack Mustangs (Josh, Morgan, and I) reunited for another run in the mixed team division. We had some great weather and great vibes. If you want to read more about the event, check out my post from last year.

This year’s Le Mans start looked like a marathon. It was maybe a 1/4-mile loop with some cyclocross-style obstacles.

Stoked to see some Boise friends up on the podium this year! Our team, Midpack Mustangs, had a strong 4th place finish.

MEOW MEOW! Nikki got us to rally for the BBP Alley Cat!

Nikki and I planned a chill little vacation to Joseph, OR. Funny enough, we didn’t have a very chill start. A pothole with a bit of rebar left us with a double flat. I didn’t think I could patch these tubes. We ended up getting a tow truck back to Ontario. Les Schwab got us in and out in a couple of hours.

We rode the senic “Valley Loop” around Joseph. posted on Cycle Oregon.

After our ride we kicked it in town and checked out the local MUSEUM. Luckily we timed it with the Bucs and Broncs Rodeo. Yeehaw!

Thx
